The working temperature of the injection-molded magnet;
The maximum operating temperature of injection-molded magnets depends on the magnetic powder and binder used. For example, ferrite powder combined with nylon 6 or PPS can pass the test at 180°C. Nylon 12 melts when it is above 170°C, so if the design temperature of the magnet exceeds 150°C, nylon 12 is not recommended. Taking the iron-iron-boron magnetic powder with higher magnetic energy product as an example, if its intrinsic coercivity is 9500 oersteds (760kA/m), no matter which binder is used, the magnetic properties of the material will be higher than 120C. There will be significant irreversible losses. The maximum service temperature for each material is listed in the product performance table.
