First, N stands for NdFeB, the second number stands for magnetic energy product, and then the letters stand for coercivity characteristics. For example, N35 without letters stands for the normal type of N35, M stands for medium coercivity, and H stands for high coercivity.
So what does the Y in the ferrite magnet material grade mean?
It is understood that Y means permanent magnet. It shows that this ferrite is a permanent magnet ferrite. The larger the number after Y, the higher the performance. If it is PCx, such as PC40, it is soft ferrite, and it has high permeability.
