Ferrite block magnets are a common type of permanent magnet material, widely used in permanent magnet motors, speakers, sensors, medical devices, and some magnetic adsorption fields. Many customers pay attention to a question when designing products, which is the maximum size that ferrite block magnets can achieve?
In general, the size of ordinary ferrite block magnets can reach several millimeters to tens of millimeters. If mature large-sized molds are used for production, single block sizes of over 150mm can be achieved. For example, block magnets with dimensions of around 150 x 100 x 25mm and 200x60x15mm can also be produced.
For some special applications, such as large motors, industrial equipment, etc., when larger and longer magnets are needed, it is not necessarily necessary to choose a single oversized ferrite block, but to use a multi block splicing and combination installation method. This not only facilitates the production of magnets by manufacturers, but also facilitates transportation, and allows for the adjustment of magnetic circuit distribution according to design requirements.

It should be noted that the maximum size of ferrite blocks is also related to their thickness. The length and width can be made relatively large, but if the thickness is too thick, internal problems are prone to occur during sintering. If the thickness is too thin, it will increase the difficulty of processing and handling. Therefore, in actual production, a comprehensive evaluation is required based on the intended use, installation space, and magnetic performance requirements.
