Soft ferrite is a ferromagnetic oxide mainly composed of Fe2O3. It is produced by powder metallurgy, mainly including Mn Zn, Cu Zn, Ni Zn, etc. among them, Mn Zn ferrite has the largest output and consumption, and Mn Zn ferrite has a low resistivity of 1 ~ 10 ohms / meter, which is generally used at frequencies below 100kHz. The resistivity of Cu Zn and Ni Zn ferrites is 102 ~ 104 ohm / m. The loss in the 100kHz ~ 10 MHz radio frequency band is small. They are mostly used in radio antenna coils and radio intermediate frequency transformers.
