As the strongest known permanent magnet material with the strongest magnetic properties, NdFeB magnet is widely used in industrial and consumer fields. Some netizens asked about its temperature resistance range is how much, the following small payment on this issue to make an introduction, so that you can better understand and apply.

In general, the operating temperature range of standard NdFeB magnets is from -40℃ to 80℃.

In order to meet the demands of higher temperature environments, manufacturers have developed different grades of high temperature type NdFeB, such as H grade, SH grade, UH grade, EH grade and AH grade. These different grades of NdFeB magnets can reach a maximum operating temperature of 120°C, 150°C, 180°C, 200°C or even 220°C or more, respectively.

The magnetic properties of NdFeB are relatively stable at low temperatures, and the remanent magnetization of some magnets even improves slightly below -50°C. However, extreme low temperatures may lead to an increase in the brittleness of the material, which needs to be evaluated in conjunction with the application scenarios for the mechanical properties.

Therefore, the temperature adaptation range of NdFeB magnets can be covered from -50℃ to about 230℃ according to different types. Reasonable selection and correct use is the key to ensure its stable performance and prolonged service life.
