1. The set-hole sludge, coreless mill sludge, double-sided mill sludge, vertical mill sludge have low carbon, hydrogen and oxygen content, and the main phase exists. The oil-based chip sludge has the main phase Nd2Fe14B and the partially oxidized Nd2O3 phase. The carbon and hydrogen content of the sludge is relatively high. This is because the coolant is mainly oily, so it brings in more organic matter, but the saturation magnetization higher, indicating that there are relatively few non-magnetic phase substances and less impurities. Therefore, casing sludge, coreless mill sludge, double-sided mill sludge, vertical mill sludge and oil chips are classified as mildly oxidized sludge.
2. The content of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen in the perforated sludge is low, and the main phase exists, but it is classified as moderately oxidized sludge because of the presence of Fe element.

3. The main phase Nd2Fe14B of wire cutting sludge has been completely destroyed into Nd2O3, Fe, Fe2O3 phases, and the carbon, hydrogen and oxygen contents are high, and the saturation magnetization is low. Although the main phase of water-based slice Nd2Fe14B exists, there are also oxidations. The Nd2O3 and Fe2O3 phases of TiO2 have high oxygen content, large particle size, and many kinds of impurities, resulting in low saturation magnetization. Therefore, wire cutting sludge and water-based chip sludge are classified as heavily oxidized sludge.
