Depending on the type of magnetic powder used, injection-moulded magnets are primarily divided into two categories: injection-moulded ferrite magnets and injection-moulded neodymium-iron-boron magnets. Injection-moulded ferrite consists primarily of ferrite magnetic powder, combined with binders such as nylon 6 (PA6), nylon 12 (PA12) or PPS resin, and is formed via the injection moulding process.
Injection-moulded neodymium-iron-boron magnets, on the other hand, utilise neodymium-iron-boron magnetic powder combined with binders such as nylon 6 (PA6), nylon 12 (PA12) or PPS resin, and are formed via the injection moulding process.
In both types of injection-moulded magnets, the proportion of magnetic powder generally ranges from 80% to 95%, whilst the plastic matrix accounts for 5% to 20%; the higher the proportion of plastic, the better the mechanical properties, but the magnetic performance will decrease.

If the product requires high mechanical strength, low cost and good temperature resistance, injection-moulded ferrite magnets are a suitable choice.
